My daughter Jemma spent one-third of her life in the hospital. With multiple lines in her tiny arms, she couldn't wear any of the clothes we brought for her.
We had only one dress she could wear. A loose pink chicken dress with ties. I dreamt of clothing that was both beautiful and functional for babies like Jemma.
Jemma is why the name exists.
